A leaf’s journey through life, whether you intervene in it or not, its ultimate destination is withering. Influenced by traditional Chinese Taoist thought, Yan Jun interprets what is “Tao” in her painting through the instant meeting of dead leaves and leaves, and what is the most fundamental nature of “Nature” and “doing nothing without doing nothing”.
